At age 18, I left sunny Southern California for the bustling streets of NYC. It was there that I received a Bachelor’s degree from NYU in English and American Literature and Creative Writing.

I spent seven years in NYC, navigating the book publishing scene, eager to promote the books that moved me, only to find that I was supposed to promote the books that received the largest book deals ($$$). I wanted to help people, to let them know they weren’t alone by publishing stories that mirrored them, but I didn’t feel like I was making any difference in the world at all. Despite landing two dream publishing jobs, I woke up one day and realized that I felt stuck, trapped in a life that I didn’t recognize as my own.

Lucky for me, a friend had begun doing tarot readings and gave me a reading that changed my life. Finally, I took the reigns to my own life and packed up everything to move to Spain! I lived in Madrid for two years, where I dabbled in translation work. My heart was so full, but I couldn’t shake the feeling that there was something more for me…

With a heavy heart, I returned home just before Covid. I entered my Saturn Return and a rather dark period. I went deep into the work, cocooned in the dark void, nestled by my own self inquiry and healing. I started seeing spirits and having visions with my eyes wide open. I found a spiritual mentor, Jennifer Wai, who so lovingly held me through the darkest period of my life thus far.

Since then, I’ve studied the Akashic Records, Astrology, Reiki, Herbalism, Implant, Seal and Entity removals, Mediumship, completed a year long certification at the Kairos Healers Academy, and completed a cross-cultural shamanic apprenticeship.

While all of my teachers, mentors and experiences add to the richness of my practice, Kairos offered me a container to explore and hone my gifts as a psychic medium. Once again, I find myself playing with the art of translation - only this time, I’m translating for Spirit.

I just completed my first year in Marysia Miernowska’s School of The Sacred Wild (studying the wild woman tradition of herbalism), and am currently enrolled in my second year of Kairos.
